Recently, I went on my first international tour, and I was able to spend eight days in the city of Berlin, Germany. This is my musical and visual recap of my time there.
Berlin is an amazing city for the creatively-inclined – there’s art EVERYWHERE. I’ve never seen anything like it before. Every street is an art gallery!
However, the city of Berlin has a very complicated past, and there are still very visible scars of the horrible things that happened there. There are areas of the city that give off a heavy, sad energy, and it’s a feeling that stays with you even after you’ve gone to another area.
But, today’s Berlin is doing its best to make up for the past and build a better, peaceful future. The abundant street art is likely a result of that process.
All in all, Berlin is a very intriguing place, and I would very much like to visit the city again in the future.
