Dear Mr: Dateh
I have played violin since I was in the 6th grade until about a year ago.
For me violin, or atleast violin class was more of a chore than an inspiration.
Over time I grew to love this instrument, but I always hid my talent and passion from my friends, family, and even myself. I am in college now and as every young adult trying to grow up, I am at a loss of what I want to do with my life. Music is an art, to express ones self through tone, depth, rythm, slurs, hole notes and half notes is a virtue and an experience like no other. Not that this letter will really make a difference or produce a change, but thanks for putting the love of violin back in my life where it belongs. Peace.
